Thought it was about time my dog Barney got a look in. Here he is in the snow last week.

Julia and Michal’s pre-Christmas wedding at the Hotel du Vin began with a service at All Saints’ Church in Tudeley (the one with the fantastic Marc Chagall windows). Much singing was had in this Welsh/Polish wedding, with hymns and carols (including an original version of ‘While Shephards Watched Their Flocks By Night’). Julia’s family members featured in the choir and at the organ, while her dad sang a lovely solo to much applause. The rest of the pictures can be viewed here but you will need the password form the couple. 1 comment Really nice images! Great blog tooJanuary 14, 2010 – 5:14 am Julia and Michal during the ceremony at All Saints’ Church in Tudeley, Nr Tonbridge. This is the only church in the world to have all of its twelve windows decorated by the great Russian artist Marc Chagall. no comments The week before Christmas brought in the first real cold snap of the winter and most of the country had some snow. Waking up in Tunbridge Wells to six inches of snow on Friday morning made up my mind not to attempt the trip down to Ditchling in West Sussex on the day (Saturday), so I set off at midday to make sure I got there as my local roads would surely freeze up quite badly overnight. The trip should only have taken an hour or so, but on the snowy roads it took three. Vikki and Ben had just finished their rehearsal in the church when I arrived and as the blokes were all staying at the White Horse across the road, this made everything simple. On the morning of the wedding, the skies were blue and the church looked beautiful. After the obligatory fry-up, the blokes set about clearing the pathway up the church entrance. The full wedding can be viewed here. no comments |
