Penshurst Place is an elegant 14th century manor house with beautiful Elizabethan gardens, set in the heart of Kent. This makes it a fantastic place to hold a wedding and photographing here is a joy.
Ceremonies take place in either the magnificent medieval Baron’s Hall or the light sandstone walled Sunderland Room. The wedding couple usually take a stroll around the Tudor gardens and the great thing is that different parts of the garden come alive depending on what time of the year you have your wedding. The gardens are almost divided into a series of ‘rooms’ by high yew hedges and there are numerous stunning vistas back to the house.
The gallery here contains some of my favourite pictures from weddings I have photographed at Penshurst Place and the pictures run in sequence like a real life wedding day.
