How it works
The session takes place on location (I do not work from a studio), with me coming out to you at the chosen venue. I normally like to work outdoors, photographing using natural light, so the session often takes place in the garden, or at places like the park, the beach or favourite beauty spot. The whole idea is to offer something a little different from getting portraits done in a high street studio. This way your child/children feel more relaxed in a familiar environment and once the novelty of having me there has worn off, hopefully they will just be themselves. There is minimal posing and no cheesy grins are allowed!
The session usually lasts from 1-2 hours and a selection of pictures will be ready for you to look at within a week of the shoot. A slideshow will be provided and this is included in the cost of the session. Please let me know if you use a PC or a Mac.
What to wear
It’s a good idea to have a couple of changes of clothes to wear, including something simple like a white dress or shirt and also some brighter colours. Clothing with logos can date quickly as fashions change and are best avoided.

Images either supplied framed and ready for wall mounting or prints only
- Bespoke framing so any size frame is possible to fit whatever wall space you have available.
- Multiple image prints are always a popular choice and look great on a large wall space. I will add some suggested layouts of images from the session that I think work well together at the end of your slideshow.
- All of the images taken and presented to you are available in colour and/or black and white
