A couple of weeks ago I was in West Sussex to photograph Claire and Tom’s Knepp Castle tipi wedding. Not having been there before, I stopped by at the Knepp Castle estate on my way to Claire’s and found these wonderful tipis being dressed for the day. I call them tipis but actually they called…
A really joyous wedding here Craig, lots of unique and observant images, so you’ve really spoiled us. I think for sheer uniqueness my favourite is the couple warming their hands over the fire. So far from the run of the mill picture, but the rings are shown clearly and the glow on their faces matches the fire perfectly. Nice dodge and burn!
Believe me Bob, there was a lot of hand warming going on that day – quite a bit from me too. The pic in front of the fire worked nicely. Just needed that shallow depth of field on the hands. Cheers.
Excellent work Craig, I love the natural elegance that the couple and the wedding party radiates and that to source this they don’t rely on external formalities, but comes naturally from the inside, which is portrayed very well by this lovely set of photographs.
Lovely images and a gorgeous setting for this wedding. Very elegant and classy coverage, nice tones to your colour images!
I’ve always been a fan of your work but I absolutely love this set! You can really feel the mood of the day. Great work!
