Lympne Castle is set high on a hill overlooking the Romney Marshes. It is a beautiful 13th Century, Grade 1 listed building and provides a perfect venue for wedding receptions.
The gothic arched windows, panelling and wooden roof beams in the Great Hall take you back back to medieval times. Whilst the West Wing Drawing Room was added in the Edwardian era. Perhaps one of the most significant features of this room is the magnificent bay window which can be a great asset when shooting a wedding in this room.
I enjoy photographing weddings at Lympne Castle because of the interesting architecture and outdoor space. The views out back are spectacular and apparently you can see the French coast on a clear day.
